General:
The GlobalSat DG-100 GPS data
logger can record travel data by using GPS signals. The DG-100 is
completely
self-contained batteries, a built-in antenna (there's also an external
antenna
port if you need it), and enough internal memory to log up to 50,000
waypoints. The DG100 records time, date, speed, altitude and GPS
location at your preset
intervals, which you can configure with the included utility software.
Designed
using the SiRF Star III chipset, the DG100 will provide accurate
positioning and
tracking for your application.
It
can
also doubles as a USB GPS receiver for your laptop!

Recorded GPS
data is then downloaded
to your computer through it's USB port. With the included software
utility (for
WIN O/S/ only), user can easily export their recorded information in a
variety
of file formats such as .CSV, TXT and KML, for use on Google Earth and
Google
Maps.
